We do the same trip every 4th of July and it seems like it gets better every time we go.  Kids make everything so much better! Jett went to the aquarium with my mom for Shark Week and got himself a couple shark tattoos that he was able to showoff on our trip, he was looking pretty tough (obviously).  We love this trip because there is no glitz, no glam, no plan, and nothing we HAVE to do.  We camp, play in the river, go to the pool, eat tons of treats, and play a ton of cards.

Every time Jett does something I think to myself, "I hope I never forget that". Yet, I'm the worlds worst at taking photos. I always get caught up in the moment and then wish later that I had gotten it on camera.  Luckily we remembered the camera and documented one of our favorite trips.

This week I am the Guest Editor over on

Brickyard Buffalo

(fun!)  I got to handpick all my favorite shops and (if they wanted) have them featured at a discounted price.  I always love sharing my favorite shops, because I love supporting other families doing what we do.

Do me a solid and check out my picks?! I'd also love to hear your favorite shops?

Happy Fourth of July!

I'm so excited to give you babes a heads up on what's been happening behind the scenes at Mindy Mae's Market.  But first, I want to explain this blog a little.. (it won't take long I promise).

This blog is in no way my attempt at being a fashion blogger or influencer.  While I will be showing you how I style our pieces, the things I buy, and use the occasional affiliate linking to show you where I purchase items; that's not my main goal.  The goal is to share our life with you. To make Mindy Mae's Market a little more personal.  We want you to know us, and hopefully find a connection to what we're doing.  To feel comfortable reaching out if you think we can help with something.  We will use this blog to document what we do, and how we do it! I'll definitely be throwing in BTS (behind the scenes) of Mindy Mae's Market and be giving you guys tips, tricks, and secrets a little earlier than everyone else!

With that said...

See this amazing lace dress?! If you were to guess what the tag said inside, would your guess be

Mindy Mae's Market!? Because that's exactly what it is!

Some of you may know, we carry a lot of Ampersand Avenue pieces.

Ampersand Avenue is owned and operated by Adam (my husband).  So, those pieces are designed, patterned, and fabric swatched by Adam, our team, and I!

The Mindy Mae's Market collection will be a selection of my favorite pieces.  I've kept quality and price in mind -  striving for the best quality pieces at affordable prices.  We are crazy excited about the pieces we have ready to launch on July 18th!

To celebrate we are giving one lucky babe $200 to spend on the new line!
